Here at Kira’s Kitchen, we are dedicated to educating people about the healing properties of healthy, real foods. I have been teaching whole foods cooking classes in various settings such as specialty foods markets, private and in-home classes, demonstrations and at farmers’ markets. I also teach nutrition education, specifically tailored to particular body type and personal health goals in order to guide people to a healthier lifestyle. I offer a 6 month health coaching program to clients trying to improve health through nutrition and lifestyle.
It is my goal to offer education, guidance and counseling in nutrition to others, assisting them in improving their health & well-being. Come join Leanne Yinger, M.Ed. Certified Health Coach in Kira’s Kitchen!
About Me
I am a Masters-level school counselor, and have spent more than 20 years working in both public and private school settings. I currently work with at risk youth as a counselor and nutrition educator/consultant for a private not for profit residential school. I am enjoying how enthusiastic my students are when learning about real food and how beneficial eating healthy is for not only physical health but mental health. I also work at the Kushi Institute, in Becket, MA. and I have launched my own business, Kira’s Kitchen which includes health/nutrition education, health coaching, shopping adventures and delivering whole foods cooking classes for beginners.
My nutrition education has included studies at the Kushi Institute in the Macrobiotic Leadership Program, and through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York City.

Greetings from St John US Virgin Islands from a former Bittersweet Farms potter – remember Elaine Creasman (now Penn?) St John has been my home since the early 1980s; raised a daughter, working as a freelance bookkeeper, volunteering for the last almost 20 years with our kid’s steel band http://www.pandragons.org
Was reading your blog and your name jumped out of the page. I don’t have to ask if you are doing well; I can see that your whole consciousness is about wellness. Your photos and words are beautiful.
Blessings
